How to Configure NectarCRM with Poli

Configuring my Nectar CRM with Poli

  1. First, log in to Nectar CRM and click on the profile picture in the upper left corner.
  2. Click on "Integration Center".
  3. Under integrations, click on "Generate Token". Fill in an ID, select a user, and save.
  4. Once done, the Token will be available. Click on the copy symbol or the view token symbol and save the record.
  5. With the token saved, go to the Poli platform, inside the chat, click on the Tools icon (wrench/screwdriver).
  6. Select "Integrations and Apps" and click on "Settings". The option to configure your integration data with Nectar CRM will open.
  7. Enter your token (copied earlier) and the email you used to register with Nectar CRM. When you fill in the email, click the [+] button to register it in our system.
  8. Then, confirm. All done! Now, let's configure by informing Poli which data you want to sync between the platforms.

Configuring the Automation Flow

  1. On the Poli platform, go to Settings and then click on the Self-Service screen. If you don't have any self-service flow registered, create a new one with the action "On chat start" or "On chat end".
  2. In the desired action, select that you will use the integration with Nectar CRM.
  3. Three options will then open: Send OpportunityCreate Contact, and Send Conversation.

Understanding the Actions:

  • Creating the contact and sending the conversation happens automatically at the moment of the action.
  • Therefore, if you choose to send the conversation as soon as the chat starts, only the customer's first message will go to Nectar. If the action is set to occur when finishing a chat, the entire conversation will be sent (only from opening until closing).
  • The same applies to the contact data, which might come incomplete if not fully filled out. We suggest that for this information to be perfectly filled, the action should be set to "On chat end".
  • If it's the same email registered for the user in both Nectar and Poli, the opportunity will be linked to the same owner when finishing a chat.

Sending an Opportunity

  1. To send an Opportunity, you need the Funnel Name and the Stage ID within NectarCRM.
  2. To find this data, you need to go inside Nectar to Settings (1) → Sales Funnel (2) and find the desired funnel (3).

  3. By clicking 'Edit' inside the Funnel, you can find the Stage ID: In this case, Stage 1 has the ID value 1, Stage 2 the ID 2, and Stage 3 the ID 3 (values are circled next to the stage name).

  4. With the data filled in the self-service flow, we can save and wait for new chats within Poli. As soon as the action is executed in our self-service flow, the record will go to Nectar immediately.
  5. Don't forget to activate the Self-Service flow, if it isn't already.

Result:

Now, after receiving a test message:

  • The contact is registered in Nectar CRM.
