1. Verify in your Meta Business Manager if your company's information is updated according to the registration data (CNPJ card). If you don't know how to create a Business Manager yet, click here.
- Follow this step: Access this link which will take you directly to your business account. If you don't have an account, this link will allow you to create a new one.
- After accessing, go to the Business name, as in the image below. Check if you have a Business Account. Once done, select the gear icon to open a new window with the settings.
2. Look for the item: Business Info (second-to-last option in the left side menu).
- When accessing Business Info, make sure the data exactly matches your company's CNPJ (Tax ID):

- If the data does not match, update all the items shown in the image above, including the company website. When filling in the company website, it is mandatory that the website has the entered CNPJ clearly and visibly displayed in its footer. With everything correct, let's now go to the Poli platform.
3. After logging into your account, on the platform's home screen, click on Channels:
- If the number to be approved is not connected to Poli as a QR CODE, go to Add Channels and look for WhatsApp By Poli, then click add:
- Choose a channel name (this is not what the customer will see) and enter the number. Once done, click Next.
- If you are using a number already in use on Poli, it is necessary to delete it from within the platform as shown in the image below:

- Click Edit, and then go to Delete. Upon completion, return to Add Channel and create it by clicking on WhatsApp By Poli.
A new screen will open with 4 steps to follow. Click on the blue button Log in with Facebook and log in.
Log in with your Facebook Page Admin account and follow the steps below:
- Choose the business account if it exists, and if it doesn't, choose create an account:
- Enter the company data if the fields are blank (unfilled):
If your Business Manager has all the information updated, the system will load this item automatically and you can continue. On this screen, the business phone number is not necessarily the one that will be used as WhatsApp on the platform, but the most usual contact number for your company. In the company website field, enter a valid URL that has a functional business email to receive a validation code from Meta Group, as shown in the image below:

Once done, complete the next steps:
- Now choose the Business Account Name. In this case, keep the one suggested by the system and pay attention to the Time Zone, selecting São Paulo if you are in Brazil:
- Ready! Accounts configured. Now go to step 2:
- This next step is extremely important, as it is the choice of the business name that will be seen by contacts in your Official WhatsApp:
- If the name has any discrepancy with the legal corporate name, check the indicated box. If it is the same as the legal corporate name, leave it unchecked.
- If the name differs, upon checking this box a new option will appear to insert your website. Once done, Facebook will perform a validation, which is why it's important that your company's CNPJ is inserted in your website's footer.
Now choose the business category:
In the final stage, let's add the phone number that will be submitted to the WhatsApp Business Platform (Official API) for use. On the screen below, check if the number you are approving appears for selection. If it does not appear, select the second option Register a new WhatsApp number and enter the number to be approved.

Now choose a format to receive the WhatsApp code:
Attention: It is now necessary that the WhatsApp account on the cell phone is Deleted. If the chat history is important to you, you will need to use a secondary SIM card for backup. Instead of deleting, you can Change Number, this way you can check customer messages. If you still don't know how to delete or change your WhatsApp account number, click here. If this number does not have a WhatsApp account, you can proceed to the call or SMS step. It is important to ensure that the number in question can receive international calls and SMS. It is recommended to test this beforehand. If this number has a call IVR, it needs to be deactivated.
Once the account is deleted, send the code.

Enter the code you received on your cell phone.

Now click verify.

Ready! Your account is set up.
When you click OK, the pop-up will close and you will need to log in with Facebook again by clicking the blue button, as shown below.
Follow the steps below, choosing the business account, the WhatsApp account, and the phone number:
